The New Snedden's Fencing Shovel has been designed to make fencing jobs easier.
The head is made from Bisalloy 400 grade 4mm plate measuring 190mm across the top width and tapering to 185mm at the cutting face. The length of the head is 235mm. The blade has a 10 degree bend on each side of the cutting face. The wide cutting face will make light work of tree roots and getting the dirt out of the hole easier.
The handle is made from 25mm nominal bore Aus Tube med pipe and features a 26 degree angle. This angle is perfect for taking the hole down square instead of tapering off. It also keeps the blade away from the body whilst tamping with the 50mm tamping button. Handle length is 1.6 length. (1.8m also available ) Zinc Electroplated for durablility.
